The face behind Fidgety Bits & Co
My name is Sam, and I'm the founder and owner of Fidgety Bits & Co. I started Fidgety Bits & Co a few years ago on a part time basis to help people with sensory and developmental needs.
I am a single mum of two beautiful boys and my oldest was diagnoses as ASD level 3. When he was first diagnosed I noticed there was a lack of supports and resources available. I decided to start designing and custom making sensory products to suit each individual diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, Parkinson's, Dementia and Alzheimer's.
I'm currently on my way to becoming an Occupational Therapist and a disability advocate for kids with additional needs in mainstream schools. You'll find me at local markets where I can help with advice to start the diagnosis process, giving advice on ASD from my personal experience and also being an ear to those who just need a vent.
